Walkathon for Health Bharat logo

Purpose, vision and mission

Healthy knees and active lives, for every age

Built on prevention rather than late treatment. An initiative of Blessings Physiotherapy Clinic, Mulund West.

Vision

Prevention before the clinic visit

Healthy knees and active lives for every age, built on daily walking done correctly, posture that protects the joints, and physiotherapy that reaches the community.

Mission

Healthy Knees

To prevent early osteoarthritis. Knee osteoarthritis, poor posture and inactive days are the problem. A short, guided walk is the first answer.

Knee health

Strength and mobility before pain sets in.

Healthy walking

The simplest daily exercise, done right.

Posture

Habits that protect the spine and joints.

Preventive physio

Expert guidance in the community, not only the clinic.

These are Dr. Hansa Thacker’s own certificates, from the degree in 2004 through the 2026 fellowship.

At the clinic

Matrix Rhythm Therapy

Alongside the walks, Blessings uses Matrix Rhythm Therapy (MaRhyThe®). Dr. Hansa went to Germany and trained with Dr. med. Ulrich G. Randoll at the Dr. Randoll Institut in Munich, and she holds that certificate. It is part of clinic care for back, neck and joint pain. The walkathon itself stays simple: walking, posture and prevention.
